I was walked yesterday from my long booked 2 night RI reservation in a 2BR suite with fireplace and full kitchen. I used the app and checked in early. I called yesterday morning about early checkin. I was told I'd be called upon my room's readiness. I was called about 2 hours later and told I was being walked to an IHG Staybridge Suites 1 BR w/ 2 dbl beds and a microwave and hot plate. I reminded them of my Platinum Premiere Elite Status and mentioned I had our holiday meal in my cooler and really needed the 2 BR(not 2 beds) and a full kitchen. What is the Marriott Guarantee and what should I be getting/ been offered as compensation? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.
