If you have not received your Elite Birthday Night Credit (credit for the night without stay), look for a "Birthday Gift For You" email from Marriott Rewards. The email must be opened and the gift claimed to receive the credit. C

And sometimes, like this March, one doesn't receive that e-mail even when one is watching for it.
All members can receive an elite night credit towards their status on or around their birthday if they have their birthday listed in their account, and they must be subscribed to receive emails from Marriott. If your account follows both of these actions, and your birthday has already passed this year, please fill out a Customer Support with your information and we can look into this with our team.
Thanks for the helpful information communitymanagers, but which specific email preferences are required to obtain the credit? I'm assuming the top one, but there are also traditional mail options too (which wouldn't be hyperlink oriented). Can you please confirm?
I received the email and clicked the link and received a message that I was gifted an elite credit. Not sure how to see if it was posted to my account. I don't see it listed in my activity.
email@example.com, you can check your points and nights totals by signing into your account at Marriott.com. Click your name at the top right and your total points and nights will be displayed.
J's gift night was not listed in Activity either. Not sure why not. C
Thank you for the information. I am glad that you shared this. When I previously called Marriott Rewards customer service to inquire, they were not aware that Marriott offered the Birthday Elite Night Credit.
