Not receiving rewards credit for stays

I would like to know why I have not been able receive credit for several hotel stays that I was  told I would receive credit for by a Marriott Rewards employee over the phone. I agree with another posting saying they should be able to see our stays via their system.  I was given the email address to forward pictures of the receipts, which I forwarded to the member.updates@marriott.com email address as instructed but was told by the online agent(Angela P.) that I would not receive credit.

I have to say this is the most frustrating part of dealing with companies toda...when one employee tells you one thing and another one tells you something else
