Has anyone stayed at the Marriott Beach Club in Aruba, especially over Memorial Weekend? It's our first land trip to Aruba.
Thought of taking our first trip to Aruba this spring, but Cabo won out.
If you do end up going after I did some research many folks told of long lines at the airport when leaving Aruba so you may want to plan accordingly especially over a holiday weekend.
Yeah 4 security checks before boarding. It takes a lot of time but since you clear immigration its good.
Back to the question, we stayed at the Renaissance last Nov and went over to Marriott Stellaris resort for dinner at the Atardi - it was one of the highlights, book a seat by the water.
You can charge it to the room and earn points as well.
Made a couple stays in Aruba, but not at the Beach Club (though I did drive past it last time). Do you have specific questions about Aruba or the property (other than just "has anyone stayed there?")? Quite a few Insiders have visited the island. Some of us have even driven from end to end. I've seen some great restaurant recommendations as well. Give us a little more info I have no doubt you'll get plenty more replies once folks have a better idea of what you want to know.
I have stayed at Marriott Stellaris last January/Februrary for a week. My wife and I will be returing for a long week in March. We really enjoyed our last stay and were looking for a winter retreat/spring revival by going someplace warm.
We both have Global Entry which can help to expedite the departure process - just make sure you get in the correct line!!!
Yes the Stellaris Tradewinds Club is what we looked at and most likely will pull the trigger for the Aruba trip on points next winter.
Thanks, we were debating the Marriott Stellaris over the Beach Club. We have friends staying at the Beach Club so that lead us there. The Stellaris looks more fun. We both have Global Entry so I will look for the right line.
