BEST Marriott Property in Paris... Who has recommendations?
I have stayed at the Marriott Rive Gauche on the Left Bank years ago, so if you are knowledgeable of that property, feel free to make comparisons.
I would either stay at ren arch or champ Elise marriott
Renaissance La Defense is a few Metro stops from central Paris, and is therefore more economical. But Renaissance Arc d’Triomphe or Renaissance Vendome are well situated, and priced accordingly!
These previous MRI's are so right about Paris Marriott's. My take take would be:
Economical, La Defense, if you don't mind a 15 minute Metro ride to the C-E! Rooms are wonderful, and the Weekends are a great value.
Unique, The Marriott C-E, for a once in a lifetime experience, one of the best places to stay in the World.
Comfortable and just off the C-E is the Red. AdT! Wonderful location and a great staff!
C-E has wonderful rooms!
Classy, informative and helpful staff at the very nice Run. AdT!
Wonderful location, dining and pricing, as well as a wonderful GM Libert, makes a stay at LaDefense special!
Good luck on your choice!
Lobby of Marriott Champs Elysees, where you will find spectacular accommodations and food; however, rooms are quite expensive, so if you have reward points use them.
Otherwise, the Renaissance Trocadero (near Eiffel Tower) is less expensive and quite nice. The other Marriott properties others have mentioned are also ideal locations.
Great photo of the lobby of a great place!
Here are a few more, and I do think this is one of the finest places to stay in the World. Just book on points early, if full, keep trying everyday, it has always worked for me! Here goes:
View from a room on the C-E of The C-E, like a "Hollywood Set", a great experience!
Wonderful Swordfish dinner and all the dining is first class!
Help there is exceptional throughout the fine property!
Fabrice is one of the excellent employees at The C-E who will treat you very well!
Good luck on your trip, no matter where you stay!
I have stayed at Ren La Defense twice; it's not been my fave. Last trip I stayed at the Marriott Opera. Lovely property, great views from the concierge lounge.
Also stayed at the Renaissance Hippodrome outside the city once. It backs up to the Paris country club - beautiful property, but about a 30 minute trip to the city. If you're looking to relax in the country and make short visits the city, give it a try.
