any bad experiences at Cosmo for anyone?
I will NEVER go again
richiemac, I was considering a stay in February. What was your experience? Can you share some insights? Thanks!
I love the Cosmo. One of my favorite hotels. I am surprised you had a bad experience. Maybe you could add some details about why you didn't like it. There is nothing like it in the world , getting a room with a balcony overlooking the fountains.
been there three times and loved all three. Great rooms with balconies and views. Restaurants a little expensive but its Vegas
Would like to hear your experience. We stayed for 2 nights in June and booked a fountain view room. We were a little worried based on reviews but received the room we booked and it was beautiful. Loved the terrace even though it was 116 degrees outside. The reception in the lounge for checkin wasn’t warm and welcoming but they checked us in without having to wait in the extremely busy regular hotel check in. Enjoyed the coffee and tea provided in the lounge also. We enjoyed the hotel and especially the location center strip.
Cosmo is one of the most expensive hotels ever built, if not THE most expensive hotel. I have stayed there 5 times. It's not perfect, I agree, but it's also not a never return property. I have always been upgraded, and always been treated well there.
Because you have not provided any details, I can only assume that your experience, like most bad experiences here, have to do with unrealistic expectations.
I stay at the COSMO once or twice a year. Its an amazing property. Never a bad experience. Here are some of my favorite things from the property:
1. There are a lot of room categories and configurations to choose from when booking.
2. Easy check-in/out using the Autograph lounge with complimentary daily water bottles.
3. Great room service.
4. Amazing wraparound balconies to lounge and host parties.
5. Fantastic on-site restaurants!
6. Great location on strip right next door to Aria and Bellagio.
7. Decent fitness options including tennis and weightlifting
8. Talon Club is a hidden gem
Also the spa accepts Spa Finder gift certificates. An instant 20 percent discount if you buy the gift certs at Costco.
We are sorry to hear you had a frustrating experience. Can you please submit a Support Request and input your dates of stay, the hotel name, and reservation number? This will provide us with all the information we need to inform our team.
We look forward to hearing back!
The Cosmopolitan is our go-to hotel in Vegas; we love it! My previously favorite hotel was Caesar's Palace, but the Cosmopolitan is part of the Marriot family! Our second choice is the Marriott Grand Chateau across the street because the Cosmo is SO expensive. Another good option is the Marriott off the strip near the Stratosphere and the Rennaissance just off the strip.
