Lifetime Status following SPG/Marriott Program Merge

It will be interesting to see how they handle lifetime status, following the program merger.  As example, SPG is based on tenure and nights, not points.  500 nights and 10 years in the program gets you Lifetime Platinum.  In the Marriott Rewards Program, I just logged my 30th anniversary, have 627 nights, 1,596,942 points and have yet to reach LTG.  (but will this month!!)  I don't envy those working through these issues, because it will be quite challenging to keep everyone happy.
