Has anyone had success getting points/status nights rewarded for "directly billed" rooms when traveling for an employer? I have approximately 220 Marriott nights in the last 24 months and I was only credited for 34 of them. My fellow coworkers are in the same boat that Marriott doesn't like "direct bill" payments to reward the people actually using the rooms and amenities. This isn't an issue at other hotel chains (except SPG now...)
If you've had success arguing for or receiving any compensation (points/status extensions etc) for nights stayed could you share how you went about doing so?
