Recourse on terrible rental experience

I redeemed points and paid cash for a 10 day rental. Dollar rent a car was listed with several companies. I selected Dollar although I had never used them before. Rental and return experiences in Louisville were terrible. Rude agents  on both occasions, car not cleaned,  I will never use dollar again. Any recourse available from Marriott? Can I get some of my points back? Only used Dollar because they were listed on Marriott site.
