Hello from me. I want to go with my family to a holiday in Africa. Tell me where to go, I think Tanzania or South Africa. Give me advice? Thanks
Capetown from top of Table Mountain - hike up the mountain (2-3 hours and quite exhausting), and then ride the cable car back down the mountain.
Cape of Good Hope, near Capetown - My suggestion would be Capetown, however, you would need to be careful in the city. I stayed in Rondebosch, which is safer than
the city. From there, you could visit the Cape (shown above), and then circle around to the NW to see the warm-water penguins, which are quite amazing. Also, you
could ride north of Capetown to see blue whales, and take a day tour to the Paarl Wine Valley (photo below) and enjoy some wine tasting. South African wines - particularly port - are great!
I've also spent some time in Uganda, and if you'd like a little more adventure - particularly game parks to see animals in the natural habitat - you might consider this. There is a hotel in the Queen Elizabeth Game Park where you can stay overnight and arrange for park tours:
The nicest hotels in the area are the Lake Victoria Hotel (at Entebbe Airport), and the Sheraton Hotel (downtown Kampala, capitol city); however, the latter is rather expensive.
Aside from visiting around Kampala, you might want to take side trip to Victoria Falls, or perhaps visit/climb Mt. Kilimanjaro (Kenya)
You'll probably have to fly from European airport (such as London Heathrow, or Amsterdam) into Nairobi, Kenya, with connection to Entebbe, Uganda, and you might check on in/out schedules for Entebbe Airport.
