I just got off the phone with 2 FI's...one in Colorado Springs, and the other in Rapid City. I'm a lifetime platinum, but felt like a customer with body odor when I got off the phone with these 2 hotels (motels?). What has happened to the "Marriott Way"? My wishes and special requests were not met with "sure we can do that", but rather, "that will be an extra $8 per night", and "we can't do that". What jokes. I'm wondering - would Hilton do this to a lifetime platinum guest? After staying at Marriott for 40 years, I'm seeing a trend that I don't like.
