For many, it's an old adage: "Never eat in the hotel where you're staying!" (except for breakfast)
But, when was the last time you looked forward to having dinner (your main meal of the day) in your hotel, and which hotel (s) would you recommend the same for others, particularly Marriott properties? Eating free meal (snacks usually) in the concierge room excluded....
For me, the best Marriott Hotel dinner experience my wife and I have enjoyed was at the Grand Flora, Rome, Italy. The food was well prepared, and service impeccable.....I even persuaded the Italian troubadour to serenade my wife, with "Non Dimenticar" .....(tried unsuccessfully to upload video clip, but unable to do so)
*Forgot to mention the Renaissance Ciocco Resort in Barga, Tuscany, Italy, and the Marriott Ocean Watch Hotel and Resort, North Myrtle Beach, SC.
