CLs in Las Vegas?

I have to go to meetings at the Bellagio in Las Vegas in March, traveling solo for work.  I would like to stay at a Marriott-branded property if I can find one with a CL.  Seems like the Renaissance by the convention center might be the best/only option.  Any thoughts on that hotel and whether $209 a night is a good rate?  There is an option to pay $219 a night and receive an extra 5000 MR points per night, so that seems like a no brainer, right?  Can I get to or near the Bellagio on the Monorail?  Alternatively, I could get a $200/night rate at the Mandarin Oriental which seems like a pretty good deal.  I have not stayed at a MO but have heard they are comparable with RC, Waldorf-Astoria, or Four Seasons (i.e., higher end than a Renaissance would typically be).  But I'm more concerned with CL access than luxury, getting MR points, or staying somewhere super close to the Bellagio.  My meetings are Tuesday through Thursday so CL should be open.  I am not a big fan of Las Vegas and did not choose this location, so I don't really care about casinos, shopping, or shows.  I do enjoy a nicely appointed hotel that is quiet and sophisticated.  Any thoughts or suggestions?
