Visit to United States Naval Academy

Blog Post created by seatexan on Apr 30, 2018

Before #DoubleTipple I was able to get lots of sightseeing in!

The US Naval Academy has been high on my list.  I was finally able to go!

On the way there.... I saw the most adorable thing!!!

The whole family!

We arrived around 9:30am

When we got there we scheduled a guided tour and I high suggest this!  Proceeds go to help fund things for the Midshipmen.  It is also really informative.  The people giving the tours are all volunteers.

The campus is so pretty! Even though it wast a cold gloomy day, it was still lovely.

There is also a museum on campus and it was AMAZING!!! They have a massive collection of model ships on the 2nd floor.  In the back on the 2nd floor there are tons of them made out of bones that French prisoners from the Napoleonic Wars created.

This one is not my photo, but I wanted to show the detail in the bone ships and my photos didn't show it.

Ok back to mine! These are not bone...
