I have really been struggling to post pictures after getting a new laptop. I think I have finally figured out that I need to email a smaller version of the photo when I send it from my phone to my laptop so that I can save it on my desktop. I'm still trying to figure out how to post photos that bikinchris sends to me.
This photo was taken at the Charles Hosmer Museum of American Art in Winter Park, Florida. According to their visitor's guide, the museum is known internationally for its collection of works by American artist and designer Louis Comfort Tiffany. The example pictured here won a grand prize in 1902 at the Prima Esposizione Internazionale d'Arte Decorativa Moderna in Turin, Italy in 1902. This was one of the first examples of Tiffany's work which "transformed standard lamp forms into electrified sculptures from nature".
