Discover the latest conversations from across the community
Whether you're new to the community and are curious about the range of discussions or you're returning to discover new conversations, here's how you can find the vary latest.
Peruse chronological contributions and activity
Click the "Activity" link at the top of each page to see a chronological list of all discussions, replies, likes and more.
Click on the "Followed Activity" tab in the body of the page. This will display a chronological list of contributions for each Insider you follow (It's like your own personal digest). If you're new to the community or you haven't "followed" anyone, this area may appear blank. You can "follow" other Insiders as you come across other members with interesting experience or perspectives.
Click on the "All Activity" tab to see a chronological list of all activity from across the site. Since the All Activity page is essentially the community's timeline, it can be helpful to scroll through conversations from the last few days, but it's not the best place to search for specific conversations or subjects.
Tutorial: Plan or research a trip
Monitor for replies from your peers
Read through new replies to your conversations
Click the "Inbox" link at the top of each page to see a list of all replies from other Insiders to your contributions. This is a handy way of providing all the latest activity on your discussions since you were there last, and without having to navigate to each individual thread.
The list in the left column represents each thread with new activity. You'll notice that each thread of these threads has a blue indicator to the side which is your cue that it's new.
When you click on a discussion thread in from the list in the left column, you'll see a preview of the thread itself appear in the right column along with each new reply from others. From here, you can continue the conversation by replying to the original discussion.
Note: As a new member of the community, you will automatically receive an email notification for each of these replies. If you find that you’re active in the community and don’t need the email notifications, you can disable them in your profile preferences.

Browse discussions within relevant topics
If you’re planning an upcoming trip, you’re likely interested in specific information about the destination, hotels, local attractions or even advice on hotel redemptions or certificates. Here’s how you can skip directly to the information you’re looking for.
Refine your search within specific discussion topics
From the navigation, click on whichever of the four discussion topics may be relevant to your search (Destinations, Marriott Rewards, Travel Tips and Other Topics).
Click "Browse recent conversation"
Use the search bar available in the middle of the page. This will filter out all other content from the rest of the site so you're likely to find better results.
Zero-in by searching within specific categories
From the homepage, click on whichever of the four discussion topics may be relevant to your search (Destinations, Marriott Rewards, Travel Tips and Other Topics).
This time, instead of using the search box, click on whichever category best represents the nature of your search. This gives you only the content within the category you've selected and filters out everything else.
You can zero-in on your conversations by further filtering this list of conversations with specific keywords. Just above the list of conversations is a text box that says, "Type to filter by text" which is where you can enter your keywords.
Respond or "Like" replies when they're helpful
A "like" is a courteous gesture that shows your peers you've found their information to be helpful, insightful or simply fun and interesting. You can "like" nearly any post, reply, blog post or photo.
Insiders are welcoming and enjoy hearing from everyone so feel free to reply as you read through conversations.
